holy shit!

The H&R Block/Dept. of Revenue saga comes to a close...

H&R Block corporate called after I wrote them a nasty letter, and after much phone tag, they figured out that the Dept. of Revenue owes me money. So apparently, they're sending me a check.

So: My bad. But also: WOOOOOOOOO!

(I must say, the Dept. of Revenue letter was totally misleading--they sure as hell made it sound like a bill.)

hi, remember me? the rain on your parade? hehe... did you get a letter from the government saying you're getting a return or just HR puff-n-stuff? don't jump until you see something... great tactic for getting you off their back and onto the mailman's =)

Yeah, I won't 100% believe it till I see it. :)

It's funny--I had the SO read the Dept. of Revenue letter tonight and even HE didn't understand it. It still looks like a "There's a discrepancy and we'll bill ya" letter to both of us.
